Ingredients:
- 1 lb tuna, cut in ½-inch pieces
- Dice all of the following in ¼-inch pieces:
- ½ sweet onion, (can also use shallots or white or yellow onion)
- ½ red bell pepper
- ½ cucumber, seeded and diced
- ½ – 1 hot pepper (jalapeno, serrano, habanero), diced
- ½ Asian pear, diced (optional)
- 1 medium tomato or a small handful of cherry/grape tomatoes
- ½ tsp fresh grated ginger
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp chili paste or gochujang
- 1 tsp brown sugar (optional)
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients and toss gently. Add salt and pepper as desired and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve with fried wonton skins, corn chips, or crackers, or just eat it with a fork.
