For the main course, you can’t go wrong with poached salmon and a creamy sauce or seared scallops for two. For a splurge, lobster with lemon butter would be a treat for your special someone, also! HINT: Buy them split and cook them on the grill — no clean up! — again leaving you more time for…
This year, February 14 (yes, guys, this is the date for Valentine’s Day — every year it’s the same date) falls on a Thursday, so for the purists that want to celebrate on the actual day, you’ll want something you can put together after work with minimal effort and maximum “special”.
For the absolute perfect meal – shrimp with angel hair pasta can’t be beat. It’s easy. It’s fast. And it can be beautifully plated when the shrimp are placed “front-to-front” to form little hearts! Pair with a nice bottle of bubbly and something chocolaty for dessert and you have an instant, romantic meal.
Just don’t forget some beautiful music plus candles and flowers for the table!
